Still in Hamilton

studying for exams..............................................

maybe this was a bad time to start this blog since everyone's studying.. but OH WELL

Some of my housemates went to ted talks today, a bus was organized to go but only 5 out of the 30 seats were filled.. but its all good, i'm sure the speakers were great.. and the food

I've just been studying here in Hamilton and I feel bad cause the friend that I'm staying with has already finished all her essays and she only has one exam coming up.

I'm more boring then I usually am...fuck

....I'll have to make it up to her some how

I go back to O'keefe tomorrow. Can't wait to see my roommate cause I miss her!
hopefully tomorrows blog post will be more interesting then today's.

Dec 4th- Post #4

I just had the worst dream ever

I had a dream that I had a baby with one of my housemates....EWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
I think I had this dream cause last night, me and my friend were talking about this housemates characteristics and how some of their traits would mesh well together with mine... of course we're just friends and I would be really grossed out if anything more happened besides just us being friends.
blechfjdsiaofeawjdcv.

This isn't my first baby dream tho weirdly. I had a dream about a month ago about having this ADORABLE BABY. I woke up crying because it felt so real.
So since I've had these baby dreams twice already, I googled what it meant, and it meant that new opportunities are coming and that its a symbol of rebirth and new beginnings. Which is not so bad! But if I dream about ugly babies (aka the baby with one of my housemates dream) then it means that I'm going to get sad news very soon...shit.

oh god, I will never dream again.

update: hamilton is beauutiful as usual. and pizza pizza was pretty good (also we were starving).
At pizza pizza we used one of these old school debit machines, and it was pretty rad.

Dec 3rd- Post #3

I love how we live in downtown Toronto.

I woke up this morning, grabbed some chipotle. Everything is super convenient and I LOVE it

Since its exam time, its 23 quiet hours. one hour to go fucking nuts which is from 8pm-9pm...I bought an air horn... enough said.

I'm going to hamilton today to stay with a really close friend that lives on my floor. IM SO EXCITED.
This house is awesome, but sometimes you need to just get away for a couple days and re-energize.
This winter break is much needed for everyone thats for sure.

Of course we all get on each other's nerves sometimes... whether its making too much noise, keeping the light on when you're trying to go to bed, using each other's kitchen appliances, not flushing the toilet, or just acting like a complete idiot.
...thus, this christmas break will be good for all of us.

Can't wait to go back home

December 2nd - 2nd post
3:53pm EST

My roommate

shes pretty fuckin cool
i've honestly never met anyone like her, and i'm diggin it

im so lucky cause i can honestly say i have no issues with her AT ALL

my favorite part of having her as my roommate is that we can just chill and talk with our backs facing each other, eat whatever we want in our room because we like the same kind of food, we party together, keep our rooms messy, try weird herbal medicine together, goto oakham and get the same thing on the menu, and the list goes on.
she honestly makes me laugh harder then anyone else i know!
and we have a weird obsession with carrot cake from oakham...

also she has a pretty wicked stand on her bed that prevents her from falling.
i'm jealous of it.

this is the stand
this is the disgusting herbal medicine we tried together..

December 2nd-- 1st Post

Hi there.

I decided to create this blog page to document my experiences here at O'keefe House at Ryerson...

I wish I started this earlier but oh well!

Its December 2nd, and I'm pretty content. Everythings been going well except for a FEW things....
living in o'keefe you need to know these basics

1. things get stolen from the kitchen all the time. take care of your stuff and label everything. also don't keep things in the fridge because someone will eat or steal your shit

2. the stairs will feel like they're going to break...but they won't... hopefully

3. the basement couches probably have never been cleaned.. just keep that in mind

4. always knock for the bathroom.. and WAIT before you go in

5. anyone could potentially walk into our house because we don't have a front desk.. but thats cool

6. walls are thinner than paper

theres alot of other things that I cant remember at the moment.
but I will add to this list as the year goes on...
but honestly theres been some amazing things here as well

1. we get free cable

2. we have a backyard

3. we have so much history and traditions...its pretty awesome

4. we are family

We all made it through 1st semester... except for two three students.

pretty solid
